Domino launches new after-sales solutions


To complement 41 years’ heritage of developing proven and reliable digital ink jet printing solutions, and in their “continuous quest to provide their customers with added value services that help to grow their businesses”, Domino Digital Printing Solutions has launched two new after-sales solutions at Labelexpo Europe in Brussels last week.


The first, Evalu8, is a new Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Tool, which has been developed to help Domino’s customers maximise their investment and profitability. Louise Adcock, N-Series Product Manager at Domino Digital Printing Solutions, says “Our customers are at the forefront of our development plans and Evalu8 represents a valuable addition to our product portfolio demonstrating Domino’s commitment to delivering added value services.”

Evalu8 is a secure, cloud based TCO estimation tool which is unique and simple to use. After selecting the PDF image required for printing, it provides estimated ink usage and TCO reports for that job. In addition, it allows customers to compare production costs between different printing technologies. Louise continues, “This enables our customers to determine the most efficient and cost-effective way to produce jobs whilst maximising profitability.”

The second new offering is the launch of Domino’s Digital Solutions Programme (DSP) in Europe. Following on from its successful introduction in the US, this programme provides a combination of flexible training modules and bespoke consultative services.

Louise explains, “With certificated training options for press operators, and modules specifically targeted at your pre-press, financial and internal sales teams, the Digital Solutions Programme has been designed to help you maximise the potential of your investment in the Domino N610i. The programme can be tailor-made to your specific requirements and can include a combination of workforce development training modules enabling you to maximise performance, efficiency and productivity with consultative advice on how to maximise profitability and open up new business opportunities.”

Louise concludes “We are delighted to launch these two new initiatives at Labelexpo Europe.
