The Procarsa management invests a 2-figure million amount in order to erect a new mill for the production of packaging papers in the Province of Guayas. The new paper mill will be run by Surpapelcorp created for this purpose. There, testliner and fluting material will be made from recycling papers. The new production plant will be one of the most modern in Latin America, its yearly capacity is planned to be 120,000 t.

The Bellmer scope of supply included the mechanical and electrical dismounting of the paper machine in Monza, the dismounting of the pipe lines as well as the marking job of all parts. Those works were carried through in cooperation by our specialists from Niefern and Spain and were completed by end of January.

The paper machine engineering as well as the layout were elaborated by Bellmer Ibérica thus providing the basis for successful civil works. Key parts of the machine will be professionally overhauled prior to shipment to Ecuador. In the company's headquarters in Niefern, numerous new parts will be manufactured for the wire section. Supervision of mounting as well as support on site during the commissioning and startup period will be performed by the German-Spanish team.
