Idempapers, one of the leading producers of carbonless and technical speciality papers for the printing and converting industry, has rebuilt PM#4 to incorporate a Spooner Air Turn enabling the contactless production of various types of coated paper. This project will mark the 375th Air Turn that Spooner has supplied to their customers around the world.

The 550 mm radius, stainless steel unit, is installed after the existing film press and replaces a bow roll and steam cylinder to facilitate non-contact turning of the paper to prevent picking of the coating. Production started in January.
