Drewsen Spezialpapiere invests in three wind turbines close to the plant

As the first step in a long-term plan to use locally generated renewable energy, Drewsen is investing in three wind turbines. These are located approximately two kilometres from the mill and become property of Drewsen today, 1st July.

Circularity on a new level: 2030 recycling rate target

Representatives of the European paper value chain gathered in Brussels on Wednesday have pledged to recycle 76% of all paper consumed by 2030. The commitment was taken during the 8th edition of the European Paper Recycling Awards which saw two projects, breaking new ground for how far paper recycling can go, receiving the highest distinction in the European paper recycling community. 90% of the world's banknotes are “Swiss”

The vast majority of the world's banknotes is produced using Swiss technology. Just like the special inks produced by SICPA, the sophisticated presses and all the related solutions (printing plate production, design, quality control, etc.) are developed in Lausanne by Koenig & Bauer Banknote Solutions (K&B Banknote Solutions) and then made available to Central Banks and private printers for the production of their banknotes. This year, the company is celebrating 70 years of existence and presence in Lausanne.

Sibress launches new FADS3D flexo plate measuring device
