XSYS launches digital configuration tool for rotec® adapters
XSYS has introduced the rotec® Adapter Configuration Tool, a comprehensive online product guidance and order request portal that gives printers direct access to fully customized adapters. By visiting the XSYS website, printers can effortlessly configure the exact adapter they require for their press by specifying all the technical details in one simple process. This streamlined approach contributes to a more efficient ordering process, where printers can receive their bespoke adapter in a shorter time frame.
17th Cortina User Workshop in Amsterdam
The Cortina User Workshop took place again in September under the direction of Koenig & Bauer. At the annual meetings of industry leaders on the topic of waterless printing, the experts discussed the challenges and successes intensively. Under the leadership of Georg Zitterbart, product specialist at Cortina Koenig & Bauer, the event was prepared with all users and partners from the supplier industry. Support for planning and implementation came from Rodi Media in Diemen, under the responsibility of managing director Dick Ranzijn.
ColdsetInnovation Fulda extends service contract with Koenig & Bauer to 2035
ColdsetInnovation Fulda is extending its service partnership with Koenig & Bauer for a further ten years and describes this step as confirmation of its long-term commitment to newspaper printing. The service contract concluded in 2015 has served the company well by safeguarding problem-free operation of its highly automated Commander satellite press. At the end of November, a delegation from ColdsetInnovation travelled from Fulda to the Koenig & Bauer headquarters in Würzburg to sign a ten-year extension of the present service contract beyond the original expiry date in 2025.
Manroland Goss successfully moves used printing press from Thailand to Jordan
Over 5,000 Kilometers as the crow flies: manroland Goss successfully completes an extensive press relocation from Thailand to Jordan. In a complex logistical process, the used Goss M600 was carefully dismantled, transported and reassembled at the customer's premises. After a smooth relocation, the commissioning of the Goss M600 marks a milestone in the cooperation with the printing specialist Al Noor Printing Press and the project broker Graphic Supplies Co. Ldt., which also opens up promising prospects for further cooperation.

Sentrex chooses Mondi’s Advantage StretchWrap for pallet wrapping
Mondi has introduced its Advantage StretchWrap, a paper wrapping solution that replaces plastic stretch film and enables a more efficient logistics process, to Sentrex, a European manufacturer of paper bags. Advantage StretchWrap is a fully recyclable kraft paper that is made from responsibly sourced materials. Mondi developed it to stretch and resist punctures, making it ideal for replacing the plastic stretch film that has traditionally been used for pallet wrapping and transportation.

UPM Raflatac reveals the power of labels to drive purchasing and influence tasting experience
UPM Raflatac has released the findings of a new neuromarketing study. Results show the power of different label materials and finishes to shape consumer perceptions and drive purchasing. Focused on white wine labels, the research carried out in collaboration with partners in the packaging value chain, Argea, SenseCatch, Kurz, and Krämer Druck, shows that label material and finishes all have a significant part to play in consumer purchasing behavior and post-purchase enjoyment. The research has been summarized in a book, which also features a foreword by Uwe Melichari, a sustainable packaging expert, designer, and Pentawards jury member. The book is available in three languages and as a digital version.

Müller Martini and Hunkeler join forces for the future
After careful consideration, the owner families have decided to merge the Hunkeler Group with the Müller Martini Group. Müller Martini Holding AG has acquired all of the shares of the Hunkeler Group. With this transaction, the Hunkeler family and Crédit Mutuel Equity have sold off all their shares to Müller Martini. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
