Stunning designs on Liberty and Farrow & Ball tins

Luxury homeware brand Liberty and paint manufacturer Farrow & Ball have collaborated to launch a range of limited edition tin designs, which were printed using Fujifilm’s Acuity B1 digital press. Each tin design, comprising multiple colours, had to exactly match Farrow & Ball’s brand colours, as well as the shades and complex designs of textile fabrics manufactured by Liberty. Tin specialist William Say & Co Ltd manufactures the 57mm wide lever lid tins, which can hold 100ml of paint, at its site in Bermondsey, London.

Stefan Benito appointed new Sihl GmbH Commercial Managing Director

Sihl GmbH is starting the year 2022 with a new appointment to its management team: from 13 January, Stefan Benito will assume the position of Commercial Managing Director. First Avinci CX3200 dye-sublimation printer from Agfa at Publi-FDM

With the installation of an Avinci CX3200 sublimation printer, Publi-FDM, located in Sint-Lievens-Houtem (Belgium), is getting a global first. The newest sprout in the Agfa line-up has a print width of 3.2 m and a maximum print speed of 270 m2/h. Printing can be done directly on fabric as well as transfer paper. The machine uses Kyocera print heads in combination with odorless and environmentally friendly water-based sublimation inks.
