Due to the substantial and continuous cost increases for raw materials especially pulp by approx. 30 %, Drewsen Spezialpapiere will be increasing their prices significantly for uncoated woodfree papers for deliveries from April 1st 2021 onwards.

EasySert – an efficient addition to existing Ferag technology

Thanks to a new EasySert inserting line, the increasing insert volumes seen at the newspaper printing plant at Medienhaus Aachen can now be processed much more efficiently. Compared to the previously used system from another provider, advertising freesheets or preprints can now be filled twice as quickly with up to 24 inserts and processed ready for delivery.

The three pillars of virtual.drupa are gaining momentum

As virtual.drupa, taking place from 20 to 23 April, is approaching, exhibitors are starting to design their online showrooms; video and live presentations as well as virtual meeting rooms are in preparation. Drewsen invests in its format equipment

In order to maintain the continuous growth of the last few years in demand for speciality paper formats, Drewsen is investing in a highly efficient Questec small volume sheeter from BW Papersystems. A wide range of paper weights from 30-300 gsm can be cut into sheets in a single layer, at speeds of up to 400 m/min. Security papers with cut to register watermarks can also be precisely cut.
