World debuts for Plockmatic Group at Printing United 2025

Plockmatic Group will have two global product launches at Printing United, taking place in Orlando, Florida, October 22–24. Headlining will be the new Plockmatic SC7800 Pro XL Finisher, a compact, high-capacity booklet maker featuring patented sheet-cutting technology that sets new benchmarks for speed, precision, and flexibility in professional print finishing. As the latest addition to Plockmatic’s SC7000 series, the fully automatic SC7800 Pro XL produces saddle-stitched booklets at high speed with both inline and offline capability.

Heidelberg and MK Masterwork celebrate ten years of partnership

It's a success story: Ten years ago, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) and MK Masterwork, Chinese manufacturer of finishing systems for the packaging sector, agreed on a strategic sales partnership. As part of this, Heidelberg distributes high-performance die-cutters as well as folding carton gluers and hot-foil stamping machines from MK Masterwork outside of China. Since then Heidelberg has installed around 1,500 systems produced by MK Masterwork at customer sites around the world. Now, at a joint anniversary event at MK Masterwork's headquarters in Tianjin with around 100 international customers, both companies looked back on the milestones of their long-standing successful partnership.

UPM Adhesive Materials receives RecyClass recognitions

UPM Adhesive Materials has received recognitions from RecyClass for its releasable general purpose RW85C adhesive. In addition to the previously acquired approvals, label materials with RW85C adhesive are now recognized to be releasable in the HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) container recycling and alkali/water releasable adhesive in the PET bottle recycling1. This means that the approved label materials can be recycled in HDPE natural and white and PET bottle recycling streams, further enhancing recyclability and supporting the circular economy.
