Mondi unveils award-winning packaging concept

Mondi has developed an award-winning packaging concept that combines a corrugated outer box with a recyclable, laser-marked flexible packaging. Designed for eCommerce and bag-in-box applications, the concept can be applied across a range of flexible packaging formats and demonstrates how innovative packaging design can support circularity and improve supply chain efficiency. The concept uses laser marking technology to apply artwork directly onto the flexible packaging during converting, eliminating the need for conventional decorative printing and associated printing plates. This enables personalisation, fast artwork updates and greater design flexibility, allowing customers to respond more quickly to market trends and changing consumer preferences.
