RDM Group announces the sale of its Arnsberg business to MM Board & Paper
Reno De Medici S.p.A. (“RDM” or the “RDM Group”), a European producer of recycled cartonboard and fibre-based packaging solutions, announces the signing of an agreement with MM Board & Paper for the sale of its Arnsberg business in Germany through an asset sale transaction. The Arnsberg mill is a long-established producer of recycled cartonboard serving customers across Europe.

Christoph Burkhard will become the new Chief Financial Officer of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG on October 1, 2026
The Supervisory Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) has appointed Christoph Burkhard (62) as a full member of the Executive Board and Chief Financial Officer of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, effective October 1, 2026. With this change at the helm of the finance division, Volker Herdin will enter well-deserved retirement on September 30, 2026. Until his departure, Volker Herdin will oversee the handover to Christoph Burkhard and ensure a smooth transition. In his role as CFO, Christoph Burkhard will be responsible for the departments of Finance, Controlling, Investor Relations, M&A, Accounting, Legal, Tax, and Information Security.

Scodix and Shutterfly Expand Strategic Partnership with Four New Scodix Ultra 2500 SHD Presses
Scodix announced that Shutterfly, a worldwide web-to-print provider of personalized products and custom gifts, has made a significant investment in four new Scodix Ultra 2500 SHD presses, expected to be accompanied by a five-year agreement for Scodix consumables and service. PPWR marks a new chapter for circular packaging in Europe
The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) is the first EU-wide packaging governance that strengthens circularity within Europe and promotes the use of renewable resources grown across Europe, making the EU more resilient to energy crises and external influences, while enhancing the EU’s competitiveness. It is also the first major attempt to make packaging more sustainable.
