ThermoFlexX expands global network with appointments in Portugal

ThermoFlexX has continued the expansion of its global distributor network with two appointments in Portugal. These follow closely behind the announcement of new distributors in America and India and the company says that other agreements are expected over the coming weeks.

“Our intention is that by the end of 2014 ThermoFlexX imagers will be represented in every major country around the world,” says Christophe Lievens, director sales and marketing for basysPrint and ThermoFlexX. “The pioneering work that has taken place at our factory in Ypres has resulted in a range of imagers for the flexo industry that is attracting the attention of not only potential customers but also leading resellers.”

Sales, service and support of ThermoFlexX imagers are now handled in the south of Portugal by Anasiscor. Founded in 1991, the company is a leading supplier of pre-press systems and inkjet printing equipment.

“We already sell CTP systems to the commercial market so we have an indepth understanding of the technology and the issues,” says general manager Leopoldo Lopes. “When we spoke to the ThermoFlexX team we were highly impressed by the detail of engineering and precision that goes into the construction of their flexo imagers. It was quickly apparent that the ThermoFlexX imagers are built for accuracy, productivity and ease of use.”

In the north of Portugal sales are handled by Anasiscor’s sister company Anassisgraf, whose general manager is José Leite. “The extensive features built into the ThermoFlexX imagers, several of them unique to these models, put them in a class of their own,” says Mr Leite. “For example they offer the widest selection of resolutions on the market amongst flexo imagers, up to 5,080 dpi, which gives the user great flexibility. ThermoFlexX is a very exciting brand to add to our product portfolio.”
