MediaLiner is a top-liner for the corrugated board industry launched in the market last year. MediaLiner is a bright-white graphic liner for corrugated packaging, displays and other laminates. With its double coated silk surface it provides photorealistic print results and pleasant touch and feel. The new material enables a new generation of high-impact ‘Retail Ready Packaging’ (RRP) and creates a new category of ‘graphic liners’.

Fibre-based barrier materials are suitable for a variety of applications in the field of flexible packaging. HybraPacks are a novelty in the field of modern hybrid packaging that serves as an example to encourage dialogue on new packaging solutions. HybraPacks combine the characteristics of a firm and stiff material with the flexibility of a stand-up pouch. The enhanced display attributes of the package offer an entirely new look and feel to consumers. Through these projects Stora Enso Speciality Papers would like to initiate a dialogue and challenge professionals to rethink conventional solutions.

Stora Enso Renewable Packaging division offers fibre-based packaging materials and innovative packaging solutions for consumer goods and industrial applications. The recent development of folding boxboards focuses on light-weight packaging solutions and basis weight advantages. At FachPack Stora Enso will present an example in the field of pharmaceuticals packaging showing how high performance and efficient processing and filling can be achieved with lighter paperboard qualities. Barrier boards with bio-based PE-Green and biodegradable coating options will also be presented.
