Labelexpo adds new show in Southeast Asia

The Labelexpo Global Series has announced the addition of a brand new exhibition to its award winning events portfolio. The Indonesia Label Show will take place from 26 – 28 May 2014 at the Jakarta International Expo, Indonesia.

Launched as a direct result of its hugely successful debut Label Summit Indonesia which was held in Bali in May 2013, the new event has been extended to feature heavy machinery demonstrations. The inaugural three-day exhibition will also include a conference program.

Focused on the fast growing Indonesian and Southeast Asian label and packaging printing market, the Indonesia Label Show 2014 will provide an extraordinary opportunity for label converters, package printers, brand owners and manufacturers alike to shape their future strategies and open up even further to international business.

As Southeast Asia’s largest economy and the world’s fourth most populous country with 250 million people, Indonesia is one of the globe’s most important emerging markets. Set to attract visitors from Indonesia, the Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, the new event presents valuable access to the enormous and previously untapped commercial opportunities the ASEAN (the Association of Southeast Asian Nations) area offers.

Jade Grace, event director, Indonesia Label Show commented: “We are extremely excited to be launching this new exhibition. Indonesia is quickly turning out to be one of the world’s most significant emerging economies with a rising middle class and a strong manufacturing base with investment exceeding 30% of GDP. The tradeshow will provide a unique platform for suppliers and manufacturers of label and package printing/converting machinery, materials and associated technology to meet buyers and demonstrate their solutions in real working time."
