Drupa 2016 is a joint venture partner of the 5th Media Mundo Convention in Düsseldorf

Drupa continues its long-standing cooperation with the industry initiative Media Mundo. This year's fifth Media Mundo Convention will take the form of an environmental conference and will be conducted jointly by Antalis, Messe Düsseldorf and the Media Mundo initiative. The conference will be supported by WWF as an NGO partner.

As a further positive development, the convention has been officially recognised by the German Unesco Commission as a project under the UN decade "Education for Sustainable Development". The Environmental Conference will put the focus on economic issues with a view to investigating environmental and social problems. The convention continues to deal with the issues of energy, climate change and resources. The areas that are specially highlighted this year are the recycling industry, the communication of sustainability and the practical experiences of printing companies. The organisers have succeeded in gaining a range of first-class speakers for the event – people who play leading roles in matters of sustainability.
