Köstlin has been a user of Flexcel NX Technology since 2013 and further invested in a Flexcel NX Ultra Solution in 2020. The family-owned business, which employs around 50 staff, operates a Flexcel NX Wide 4260 System capable of producing flexo plates in sizes of up to 1,067 x 1,542 mm. The business portfolio is dominated by premium prepress services for flexible packaging, with most orders coming from the highly demanding food and cosmetics sectors. The production of Flexcel NX and Flexcel NX Ultra Plates today accounts for 70% of the company's total platemaking.
