The focus will be on global market trends, digital print technologies and package printing as conference program highlights are announced for the South China Label Show 2012. Being held at the Pazhou Exhibition Center in Guangzhou between 4-6 December 2012, the South China Label Show will feature six conference sessions over two days.
The keynote presentation will explore global market trends and be given by Jukka-Pekka Haapanen vice president - Asia Pacific at UPM Raflatac. Comparing the North American, Latin American, EMEA and Asian markets, Haapanen will look at emerging trends and best practices in China as well as analyze prospective future market conditions.
Day one will also feature a presentation on long-term anti-counterfeiting solutions by Du Zhenlin, president of the Shenzhen Association of Anti-Counterfeiting and an overview of opportunities open to label converters diversifying into package printing. Federico d’Annunzio, managing director of Nuova GIDUE and Steven Fan, general manager at Gidue China will offer practical advice on adapting your business model and optimizing workflow and the print production process. The session will highlight technology applications for the Chinese marketplace too.
The second day includes a case study presentation on investing in digital technologies to enhance your business. Hendry Feng, sales manager - labels and packaging segment with China Hewlett-Packard and Top Print Labels’ founder and deputy chairman Henrich Quek will assess and evaluate the different digital print technologies available. In addition they will consider how to create new business opportunities and study the importance of adopting value adding technologies. There will also be a focus on the environment with Carmen Chua, vice president - marketing, Avery Dennison Materials Group Asia Pacific examining sustainability trends and solutions for the industry as well as giving a case study on a dairy in Seoul.
