Nautilus® ProCycle: Mondi expands its premium recycled portfolio
Mondi's Nautilus® ProCycle, a high-quality paper made from 100% post-consumer waste for demanding print applications, demonstrates that sustainability and excellence can go hand in hand. Mondi has expanded the Nautilus® ProCycle portfolio by including grammages between 100 and 300 g/m2 for folio and 100 and 120 g/m2 in reel format. The paper meets the highest ecological standards, which are reflected in relevant certifications such as Cradle to Cradle® Bronze, Blue Angel, FSC™ and EU Ecolabel. This enables companies to contribute to the circular economy, conserving natural resources and promoting sustainability.
Recycled paper redefined: Lessebo Recycled 1.3 boasts ultra-low CO2 emissions
Lessebo Paper is proud to unveil its latest environmental figures for Lessebo Recycled 1.3, a premium recycled paper quality launched to meet the highest standards of sustainability. With carbon emissions as low as 7.81 kg CO2 per ton of paper, measured according to the Paper Profile standard, this product boasts one of the lowest carbon footprints in the paper industry.

Print shops are facing the challenge of having to process a growing number of short runs both efficiently and profitably in their production departments. That means keeping manual interventions to an absolute minimum. Integrating industrial inkjet printing into a digital ecosystem is therefore extremely important for the commercial market and the growth strategy of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg). The market launch of the Jetfire 50 B3 sheetfed inkjet system unveiled at drupa 2024, which benefits from a link to Prinect technology, is going according to plan. Customers in Switzerland are soon to be the first to have their systems installed.
Kaskad makes long-awaited comeback in the nordic market
The Swedish-made coloured paper Kaskad from Lessebo Paper, a classic beloved for its high quality and versatility, is back in the Nordic market after a hiatus. It is now available as a stock item at Addbrand. The distributor Addbrand is reintroducing the Kaskad paper series in A4 format for distribution in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. The paper is already in stock, initial deliveries have been dispatched, and the customer response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Always on track with smart bks+ web edge sensors
By updating its bks+ ultrasonic web edge sensors, microsonic packs maximum performance into a compact, rugged housing. The new bks+ web edge sensors are equipped with the latest IO-Link version 1.1.3. This enables seamless integration into modern production environments and further optimises monitoring of the material position. The web edge sensors offer a wide working range of 12 mm or 40 mm.
Neschen laminators: Now available directly in Germany
Neschen, renowned as a provider of innovative laminator technology, is introducing a new sales model for Germany. Effective immediately, Neschen laminators are available directly from the company, providing customers with a simple and direct way to access products, services, and support. This milestone coincides with Neschen's participation at wetec – the International Trade Fair for Sign making, Digital Printing, Illuminated Advertising, and Digital Signage – held in Stuttgart from February 13 to 15, 2025. At Booth 8E20 in Hall 8, the company will showcase its advanced laminator portfolio, including innovative solutions for a wide range of applications in the graphics and communications industry.

Kodak at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025
Kodak will highlight “unmatched speed and versatility in inkjet production printing” by running live demonstrations of the Kodak Prosper 7000 Turbo Press, the “world's fastest web-fed full-color inkjet press”, at Hunkeler Innovationdays 2025 (February 24 to 27, Lucerne, Switzerland), booth P4 in hall 1. The show will be the Prosper 7000 Turbo Press’s first appearance in Europe.
Tailor-made UV curing for converting applications
At the ICE Europe exhibition, UV specialist Hönle will present a selection from its extensive portfolio of UV and LED-UV curing devices designed for converting applications. The product range is complemented by hybrid LED/UV systems, IR hot air modules, and UV/LED-UV measurement technology, including the brand-new UV Scan MACS.

Mondi has collaborated with Dobis to increase efficiency in the production and reduce paper grammages of their paper shopping bags for the fashion, fast food and retail industries. Dobis, a Polish converter specialising in the production of paper bags, has long been known for its focus on production efficiency and modernised operations.

Burnishine Products, “one of the oldest and most respected brands” supplying consumable products and supplies to the printing and packaging industries, is pleased to announce a new line of flexo plate wipes for use in pressrooms around the world.
