Fiery, LLC announces the launch of XF 9, the latest release of Fiery’s high-performance software RIP, color management, and workflow solution designed to streamline all aspects of large format print production. Winner of the 2025 Pinnacle Award for best large format RIP software, Fiery XF 9 adds cutting-edge capabilities that unlock new levels of value out of your large format print operations.
Integration with Fiery FreeForm™ Create 2.0 delivers fast and easy variable data creation, while Fiery ColorGuard™ support brings streamlined color control. Combined with new AI-powered print bleed functionality taking the hassle out of filling in the gaps, Fiery XF 9 helps you produce creative, consistent, and professional large-format results.
Make personalization easy with FreeForm Create 2.0
Fiery XF 9 is compatible with Fiery FreeForm Create 2.0, the Pinnacle Award-winning variable data printing (VDP) software that enables fast, accessible personalized printing. Now, large format print providers can use a single, unified VDP creation process across all Fiery Driven printers, with no extra tools to learn and no device-specific workflows to manage. The result is easier creation of targeted and versioned materials with custom images, text, and barcodes that can drive stronger customer engagement, with more flexibility and fewer bottlenecks to production. Fiery FreeForm Create 2.0 is free to download from the Fiery website.
Ensure color consistency with Fiery ColorGuard
Fiery XF 9 is now compatible with Fiery ColorGuard — the cloud-based color control solution that enables the production of consistent color all day, every day. ColorGuard provides all the necessary tools to verify color quality, quickly correct deviations, and evaluate color performance over time, as well as prove color compliance — ensuring you deliver the color quality large-format customers demand. ColorGuard is available at no cost in 2026.
New AI-Powered Print Bleed fills in the gaps
Fiery XF 9 offers AI-powered print bleed that automatically generates realistic bleed to create professional, gallery-style canvas-wrap edges, or to avoid print quality issues caused by missing bleed content not created at the prepress stage — making creating polished final products simple and fast.
“Large format print demands consistent, top-tier output. With our award-winning Fiery XF 9 RIP software, achieving excellent results at all times is no longer the complex challenge it used to be —and it’s all driven through Fiery Command WorkStation, the same interface print teams rely on across commercial and industrial print. That unified experience is what delivers speed, ease, and reliability customers expect,” said John Henze, vice president, sales and marketing, Fiery.
Fiery XF 9 is available now at your local large format Fiery dealer. For more information, check out the product page.
