referring to the situation in the printing market as "mixed" the KBA chief considers sheetfed ofsett successfull, but rollfed offset weak. And 'Heideldruck' will right itself in the sheetfed area. Some negative news reached us from Stuttgart: the traditional Ernst Nagel is insolvent because apparently the domestic market was too weak. But in order to be "mixed", please read the other more positive messages of our newsletter for this week below! Sincerely,

KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation and Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. have jointly announced that they have signed an agreement for KapStone to acquire the stock of Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging, Inc. from Brookfield Capital Partners II, a private equity fund managed by Brookfield Asset Management Inc. in a cash free, debt free transaction for $1.025 billion in cash and subject to certain post-closing adjustments. Iggesund Paperboard is advising customers to expect an upgrading of its folding box board Incada. From this autumn Incada will be whiter and lighter and also have a number of improved properties affecting printability.
