FFI: New Director of Forests and Environment Sector05/06/2011

The Board of Directors of the Finnish Forest Industries Federation (FFI) has appointed Tomi Salo, M.Sc., B.Soc.Sc., as the new director of the organisation's Forests and Environment Sector. The appointment takes effect on 18 May.

Tomi Salo, 36, has previously served as managing director of L&T Biowatti, before which he worked for the company as a forestry services executive with responsibility for the wood procurement function. He has also served as a branch manager at the Trade Association of Finnish Forestry and Earth Moving Contractors.
