Drewsen reacts to dramatic increases in energy prices
For Drewsen, like many other paper mills, the manufacture of its uncoated woodfree specialty paper grades is an energy-intensive process. Although specific consumption levels have been reduced significantly over recent years through continuous improvements and investments in energy-efficient technology, the unprecedented increase in the cost of natural gas has had a profound effect on Drewsen.
As an established and committed supplier, Drewsen endeavours to minimise the impact of increased costs on its long-term partners wherever possible. However, due to these dramatic increases in conjunction with historically high pulp prices, it is necessary to apply a significant adjustment in sales prices for all deliveries from 1st January 2022.
Customers will be contacted by their Drewsen representative sometime in the near future to discuss this development in more detail.
