At the trade fair Drupa 2000 the Rapida 105 was the first sheetfed offset press worldwide to be awarded an “Emission tested” environmental certificate by the Professional Association for Printing and Paper Processing (Berufsgenossenschaft Druck und Papierverarbeitung). As the voice of the mechanical and plant engineering industry, the VDMA has here formulated common standards for ecological product and production design, as well as responsible corporate management.

VDMA Blue Competence Sustainability Initiative
